5TH ANNUAL “EVENING IN INDIANOLA” SET FOR THURSDAY OCTOBER 12, 2023
The 5th Annual “Evening in Indianola”, an evening dinner/reception, entertainment/program benefitting the Indianola Community and Senior Citizens Center along with the Choate Prairie and Indianola Cemeteries has been scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 2023 beginning with a 6:00 p.m. dinner/ reception at the Indianola School Auditorium.
This year’s special program is entitled “LAND BEFORE THE LAKE.”
The presentation will commemorate the approaching (2024) 60th Anniversary of the dedication of Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma’s largest man-made body of water an area of 159 square miles. The evening’s program will focus on Indianola’s linkage to the “Gentle Giant” and highlight some things now only in history- “Land Before the Lake.”
Joining in the program will include some special guests, along with the Indianola area’s “Circuit Riders” band.
The “Evening in Indianola” is an annual benefit supporting the work of the Indianola Community and Senior Citizens Center and the Choate Prairie and Indianola Cemeteries. There is a $10 per person admission fee ($5.00 5-11 years) for the evening program. In addition, there will the opportunity for on-site “annual giving” for the three charitable organizations.
