📢 Indianola Public Schools will be in session tomorrow, Friday, February 21, 2025! ❄️🚸 A huge thank you to Mr. Kenny for scraping and salting the ice around campus! However, some icy spots still remain, so please be cautious when walking. Stay safe and we’ll see you tomorrow!

Indianola Schools will utilize another Snow Day - No School - Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Stay safe and warm Warrior families!

Dear Warrior Families,
We understand that making last-minute adjustments to schedules can be challenging, and we appreciate your understanding as we make decisions with the safety of our students and staff in mind. While we do not have a crystal ball to predict exactly how the weather will unfold, we must consider the potential impact on our school operations.
Due to the forecasted winter weather and the possibility of hazardous road conditions, particularly on our bus routes that begin as early as 6:00 AM, we have decided to cancel school on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Even the slightest accumulation of ice can make travel treacherous, and the safety of our students, staff, and bus drivers remains our top priority.
We understand that some areas may not experience significant weather impacts, but we must make a district-wide decision based on the potential risks to all. This early notification allows families time to make necessary childcare arrangements.
Please stay tuned to our district website, social media channels, and local news outlets for further updates. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we prioritize the well-being of our school community.
Stay safe and warm.
